About
We are a small architecture studio based in Lewes with a focus on modern vernacular architecture and sustainable design.
Set up in 2016 by Nick Adams, the practice has established itself with a reputation of delivering high-quality designs combined with a personable friendly service, covering Brighton, Lewes, Wealden, Mid-Sussex and the South Downs National Park.
The small studio approach aims to provide the client with a personal and approachable service with a single point of contact and someone who genuinely cares about making the most of your project. This is combined with the added benefit of our in-house studio design reviews, where projects are discussed openly and problem solving and innovation more successful.
Much of our work involves the major renovation, reconfiguration and retrofitting of old buildings, turning inefficient and poorly functioning houses into modern energy-efficient family homes. We also design new build houses, small commercial developments and have extensive experience working on Grade 1 and Grade 2 listed buildings, in National Parks, AONBs and in conservation areas.
We believe good design needn’t cost the earth. If you are looking to create a high-quality, functional and aesthetically pleasing space or renovate your house using natural sustainable materials, then we can help turn your aspirations into reality.
We share your journey from concept discussions to physically realising the designs together. These designs combine our architectural knowledge and philosophy with your hopes and aspirations.
